I mostly save a bunch of tabs to read later, but my two main tabs are iGoogle (news feeds, aggregators etc) and Hotmail, though since I can't currently read any of my emails there on my work netbook* or the forwarded ones to my Gmail account**... * I don't know what the spastics did, but it's slow even with a fully-updated system and fast connection. ** Because of a crap mobile connection.

Google - it's easiest/quickest and I do tend to search a fair bit. At work recently I was told off for changing the home page from the council's intranet to Google. I pointed out that if they (ICT) didn't want the pc to be 'amendable' then they should lock the settings. The reply - it would cause too much hassle and besides, it's how we communicate with you. Prefer to use the telephone or face to face myself but each to their own Al

Blank though I do have a torrent search engine set up on one machine as home page but the defaults on both are blank.

Google on IE, because invariably, if my reason for opening IE is not to search, any subsequent tab or window that I open myself will almost certainly be used for searching.
I use Firefox for X404 as a throwback to the time when adverts ruined the Dennis forums and X404 is my home page on FF.

Google.co.uk on most things, about:blank on a few. New tabs always open blank.
I did have iGoogle on my phone and browsers, but it took over a second to load and although it was pretty I most often opened the browser looking for something else.

At work, in IE, about:blank (IE takes too long to start up and load a home page, so I get it to load nothing, as I usually need to go somewhere different. At home, I have X404 in Firefox. Bloody forum software! Messed up my FPOTD post again, this message has now been deleted twice, because my FPOTD didn't get posted correctly!
