Never used it. Tried to get it working from work but firewall must have blocked it. Now have skype too but don't really have anyone to webcam with. I supposed I could send him indoors to the computer upstairs but kind of defeats the object.

Use chat a lot through - especially for work.

I only ever use it for Skype. I am simply too busy to use it right now. Or more correctly my connection is to allow it to work properly.

I use Skype to video-call my elderly parents a couple of time a week - makes them feel very 21st century... ;)

I voted once a week, although the last couple of weeks, not at all, but at work, we use them for video conferences between the sites, so I am regularly (once or twice a week) setting up the video conferences or taking part in them.

Video Skype fairly often to family. Using it all the time at the moment as my wife is at a conference in the US.

I use it a couple of times a week to speak to home.

Both web-cam and chat/sound on Skype. Mine's built in to my laptop but my parents is free standing, watching them trying to set it up in a good position is brilliantly funny.

I got a free one from somewhere, it's still in its box.

We use a VC system for a meeting once a week here.

My employer was a cheapskate!

They wanted video conferencing, I said it cost 9,000€ per site for a professional system, but I could implement a usable system for 3,000€... I was given a budget of 100€ and had to reuse laptops with 1Ghz Celeron processors and 256MB RAM, not surprisingly, it didn't really work well! :?

Well this is Discovery so all mod cons. Even dedicated VC rooms. And we now have a contractor on site to support them for a year.

We've got a couple of very nice VC rooms at each main site here, although they're looked after by the internal IT guys, I think.

I use my webcam to video call my brother, who lives on the other side of the country, or my cousin, who lives in Malta.

I'm going to see my long-distance lady friend dressed in her Ann Summers teddy via webcam. Soon. If I'm lucky. I hope.

But it's a secret. Shhhh...

Image

^^ that's the first image hit on Google, which amuses me. I have safe-search turned off, and even searching for "Lawnmower" usually comes up with breasts.
