I finally beat our local library e-book service into submission, managed to fool it into giving me an MP3 version I can use on the iPod.

I also found something modelling-wise I've been after for some years, and not too expensive.

Also discovered there may be a way for Best Beloved to use an iPad with his amateur radio stuff, though I don't think we'll be buying one just yet.

Oh. Okay. So when's that released, then?

Given Apple's usual habits, February or March next year. Certainly not before Christmas, given they've got a thing about Macs next week and there probably isn't time to fit another launch in before the end of the year.

I've ordered a few filters for my camera.

Just checked ebay to confirm they have been dispatched (they have), and I've just noticed I ordered the 58mm Canon filters by mistake - should've been Olympus 58mm.

What a nob!

Turns out, the filters fit my camera perfectly.
They were cheaper than the ones listed for Olympus, so it was a win in the end.

The Eastmidlands flight was full today, so I had to get one to Birmingham instead. It was the same price, a quieter plane and I got home two hours earlier.

Just got a pay rise!

Fricking woo!

That's a 25% pay increase since February this year!

I've never been in a job before where I have enjoyed it and been rewarded for doing something good!

Apple aluminium keyboards are remarkably beer resistant.
