If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Unlucky dude, that's not what you want to see when you walk out to the car in the morning.

I've seen (and tried) a technique where you use a can of compressed air (the invertible kind IIRC) to chill the panel, then take a hair dryer to it. The change in temperature will often pop the panel back into shape, usually without damaging the paint.
I used it with a degree of success on a friends Alfa. YMMV.

Odd...I'm using the latest and greatest OS X, and the bleeding edge builds of Camino (downloading the source and recompiling several times a day). Also have a laptop running the same OS X, but the latest stable Camino build...

My OS X is up to date, but I use Safari. I find that more than an hour between forum activity and I have to log back in.

It has got to be the way they use cookies. I find that other sites with cookies do not stay active long.

I'm the same. Only without Firefox or Windows, or reinstalling the browser.

Alfa have soft paint and thin panels, so assuming Bratty's car is French, you'll find the same conditions. So maybe it'll work....

Yeah, I'm torn. It's the first one in ages that's tempted me. Maybe this evening I'll have another look.

To piss off my laptop:

Install Photoshop Elements 8.
Import 5000 10MP images.
Click "auto-analyse"
Watch it suffer.
