Had some work done in the house today, mainly replastering a ceiling.
Thanks to the unique way this house appears to wired together, after removing the light fitting none of the lights in the bathroom, the main bedroom or the guest room appear to be working.
I had a poke at the wiring in the room that's been plastered, and lo, the wiring was wet.
I've separated the wires, wiped them down (yes, I made certain the breakers were all off) and.... still no lights.
Calling a sparky tomorrow, I feel.

Well my daughters have been around for dinner and a booze up so are now off clubbing to celebrate the eldest graduating and I will see them when they struggle back tomorrow morning. The oldest will be staying with me for the summer till she decides her next step, in the study course.
