If you'd heard that a couple in China were going to try and set a record for the longest Wedding Dress Train, what would you have guessed for the length? BBC Clicky

I've got an Olympus IS 3000 complete with the additional external flash unit that I still use on high days and holidays. The plan was to flog it and then buy a half way decent digital camera so I can try to get back into the photography habit. However looking around the web, people can't shift used ones for £40 so I guess it's back to the drawing board.

I apologise. I'd just sat through the 2005 remake of John Carpenter's The Fog and my brain had shut down for reasons of self-preservation.

I did a car boot today and managed to raise £120. The best thing was that it was just old junk that would have gone to the charity shop anyway I must admit that I did get rather annoyed with a foreign gentlemen. I was selling a brand new item, worth about £40, for £5 to get rid of it. He asked me how much it was, despite it having a clear label on it, and just said "No, I'm not paying £5. I want it for £2" extremely arrogantly. I told him in no uncertain terms that I would rather give it to the charity shop than sell it to him. Peter.

Sometimes the cultural and language differences make people appear rude, although they do not mean to. A friend of mine once told me there is no Hindi word for "please"; at least not in the sense that we use it. Therefore, it would be perfectly normal to say "Just give me that" to a store keeper, which sounds very rude in English.

Now that I'm home from my holiday, I am working hard on the new forum game. I expect it to be complete by the end of the week Peter.
