God, it's like they're trying to sell tickets or something.

I'm pissed off with the increasing amount of TDKR trailers. I managed to dodge the trailer when I watched Captain America as I recognised the first scene. I then accidentally watched an advert from one of the car companies. This weekend, I looked up at the TV and another advert came on. Another three have come on in the last two hours.

Even Total Film IIRC are asking if it's all a bit much, there's a 13 minute featurette out too it seems. There's been something like five different trailers now, never mind TV spots all showing different individual scenes respective to the show.

What concerns me is the hype. TDK was good but Heath Ledger's performance was crap. Was it truly crap? No but in relation to the hype and thus the performance in my mind, I expected him to be the best actor ever. That's what I'm trying to avoid with this one - all articles, reports, trailers etc. I need an unbiased approach.

The new Batman films are OK, I don't understand why they're so massively overrated. :?

In other news, people have decided to kidnap Liam Neeson's daughter again! Awesome.

I know what you mean but I still thought he was awesome. I don't know how much of that is down to what I avoided beforehand :|

Either way, I prefer to experience the film as I'm watching it in full, if that makes sense

This ^^

I found Batman Begins to be utterly ordinary tbh.

Yeah I wasn't massively impressed by BB. TDK ramped it up but again, Bats took a backseat and the other characters were far more interesting. I love the look and feel of the Nolan films but I still think Keaton was a better Batman.

I can understand that, cos that's totally how I felt about the Spider-Man trilogy. Hype is always a problem with these things.

I disagree.

I thought TDK was rather below par tbh.

Facebook is taking the piss now, i didn't realise that THERE'S NO EFFING DIFFERENCE bewteen "like" and "share". I click "like on an old photo - a MASSIVE post of my activity will appear on ALL MY FRIENDS news feeds as if I thought it was the MOST IMPORTANT PHOTO IN THE WORLD and people would ask me about it in the pub and suddenly that "like" leads to people potentially thinking you're a stalker. *breathes*

FB, only new stuff that I actively want to share should be advertised. If I wasn't talking to you then you shouldn't hear what I was saying. *breathes again* pissed off with fb now, thinking of sacking it in, emails don't have this problem of not knowing who's going to potentially read it.

Sharing a photo appears on your FB page, merely liking it doesn't, but it does appear in that 'Facebook in your Facebook' thing.
As always, think twice, click once. As I've learned to my cost.

Yeah, or just try not to click on anything.

(He asks, not entirely joking.)
