Morning all.

Another day taming the scanner today, I think. Made some half decent progress yesterday, although at one point the software wouldn't let me re-use a preset I created to allow for a film stock not already covered in the software. I have come to the conclusion the engineers at the software company revel in adding pointless features to the tiniest part of their program, rather than concentrating on making the core features easy to use. </rant>

Tomorrow I will be spending the day in the 1940s, at the Chatham Historic Dockyard. A friend of mine won second prize in a photo competition, which was two tickets to the 1940s weekend, and I said I'd go along with him. Should be fun, what with us both being keen photosnapticators. I may also be allowed into the non-public sections of HMS Cavalier, which will be fun.

On Sunday, Best Beloved and I trek norf of the Thames to visit Huh-arlow. It may, or may not, be fun. I will be delivering the model railway coach I was commissioned to build, and hopefully will collect a batch more to build for the guy. Well, it keeps me quiet.

Happy Friday folks!

Morning world,

Lying in bed with the laptop on, waiting for Red to wake up, looking at the lovely day outside and wishing I'd put some laundry on timer last night so it'd be ready this morning. Kitties are begging to be let outside to play, I might just have to get up to stop them driving me nuts trying to climb the curtains!! :)

Busy day in the garden and paddock planned, hedge needs trimming and the herbal harvest goes on......

Good afternoon all.

What a joyously expensive day I'm having - renewing my tennancy agreement, that'll be £50 + VAT admin charge thank you very much. Blood sucking vampires.

Anywho, enjoy the rest of the day folks.

Afternoon all,

I'm in Shrewsbury this weekend, house and dog sitting for my boss.
I'm enjoying a good sit down with TV and programming books :D

Greetings.

Had a good day yesterday (see the Random Photo thread for some of the results).

Today I have to venture into deepest Essex, well, okay, Harlow. It's still foreign Essex as far as I am concerned.

Anyway, enjoy your Sunday peeps!
