Preferred Keaton's suit and Bale's next. Always hated the fabric suits of the early Batmans.

Oh ffs. This is the third attempt at posting this with iphone wanting to reload the page everytkme I navigate away from it. Anyway, it's that time of year when magazine subscriptions are advertised. Just seen one for Batman automobilia which goes through all of the Batmobiles ever depicted including the original red convertible. At £10 a pop, it gets pretty pricey. http://www.eaglemoss.com/batmobiles/ for more info.

Saw one in Smiths today - the model was rather nice, but no indication of how long this will run on the massive bit of cardboard it was all stuck to. Being a liked of small cars, I am tempted, but more info is needed.

I emailed them asking how many issues it will be. Waiting for a reply. Note - it's two issues a month, so that's £20. My guess is that it will run for a year, making it around £240 for the whole lot. If all the models are as good as the one I saw yesterday, it may be worth it.

I got a reply. Brace yourselves: So two a month, that's 3 years, four months. £800 for just the cars and magazines, binders are optional. I am trying to imagine what 80 Batmobiles of that scale will look like.

I won't get that far, I suspect. I've seen numerous of those kinds of magazines over the years that kind of die after a year or so.

Assuming the scale of the cars remains the same, of course. My hunch is if it continues, they'll shrink the scale.

I thought there was no way there could be 80 Batmobiles. So I googled. How wrong I was: http://www.autoblog.com/photos/the-hist ... l/#3749576I lost count after 100 (interrupted by receptionist). I somehow doubt all of them are going to make an appearance and I wonder how many versions of the same vehicle there will be (eg the Batmobile from 1989 Batman and Batman Returns were essentially identical except for windscreen wipers).

I suspect that if they did that, then people will feel short-changed. After the initial launch discount the price will be a lot higher.

Try a small newsagent they can order in things like this. They are also more likely than a big chain like WHSmith.
