"Many Years Ago" ?? Bratty, what are you 12 years old? Surely you're talking about cadets?? That's not the army ......

Are those pictures for real? Kinda looks like Gary's Mod or something - the lighting and the 3D on the wheels especially looks weird. Anyway, here's something random: http://gizmodo.com/5832557/genius-13+ye ... eakthroughI thought that was kinda cool. I remember being excited by discovering mathematics in nature when I was about the same age, and I was even ranting about sunflowers just a few weeks ago. Maths is so cool.

Ahh that makes sense - it's the lack of shadows makes it look like it's been pasted in!

1. Calibrated the Mac monitor. Ok only by hand/eye but the pics look better out of the camera (AdobeRGB) than they did when I was using sRGB.
2. Emily (i.e. my 19 month old girl) fell down a bit of a hill today. Face-planted and flipped over then slid a bit further. No tears. She's a tough little nut. Unfortunately I wasn't filming at the time so I've missed out on £250!

This really should be in a tales of fail thread. You should have a camcorder in your hand permanently with such opportunities abound.

My wife did a couple of days' work last week to test out the water for possibly going back to work after maternity leave and my first morning in charge, while she was ironing her work clothes downstairs, our nine month old rolled off the bed while I was in charge.
