By my reading, that takes us up to 14th in the medal table, just behind Romania and one silver behind the Aussies.

We are joint 13th with Romania

Good. What they did was not only against the rules, but totally unsporting too.

Indeed, because one of the men's rowing teams won a bronze shortly after Stanning & Glover got their gold. Wiggins is probably our next medal hope..

The park is more than just the village.

Bradley Wiggins is currently in the lead in the time trial, and GB's archer Alan Wills went out after a single arrow shoot-off, meaning Larry Godfrey is the only remaining British archer. He stands an outside chance of a medal.

Yeah, they look like something Jordan would dream up for her next wedding.

Congrats to Wiggo.

Congrats to Wiggo.

They saw them in the BBC props department and went: "I know..!"

Where was the finishing line again? Alexandra Palace wasn't it? I suspect it went something like this..

Race Manager : 'Look, these guys will be knackered, we need to find something for them to sit on so they can have a have a rest for a minute. Go in there and fetch a couple of chairs'
Flunkey : 'Yes Boss!'
Race Manager (15 minutes later) : 'What the F.... Oh Christ it's too late now, they'll just have to do'.

Jon
