I think James should start in goal. I just think we need experienced (if a little clumsy) hands. I do agree though that Hart is one for the future and against the lesser teams (our next to group games) it wouldnt hurt to start with him either.
Reading Eddie's team though I cant help but feel it's slightly biased towards a certain Manchester team

largely no.
Micah richards as a right back is better at defending than glen johnson, he sticks to his role.
Hart is a terrific keeper
A.cole is the best left back in the land
John terry is the best centreback in the land
I think carragher has got the experience and ability to be englands third choice centre back
Gareth barry is likely one of the best ball players in the land and best holding mid.
Lampard is an excellent midfield player
gerrard would be better played as an attacking mid due to his role at liverpool and him being a better ball player and shot than hesky that plays as a striker
A. johnson deserves a stint since J. Cole hasn't got hardly any match practice over the last year and johnson has. J. Cole is more likely to be injured. johnson is more unpredictable as a player.
S.W.P well I'm fed up of people saying he is [LIFTED] mainly because he can't cross. However he offers so much more, When put on as a starting player, he can skin defenders easily, play through balls and shoot at long distance. Lennon is practically the same player but with a better cross and diminished longshot.
Rooney is a definate as one of the best strikers in the world.
All those players in a team would be better than having glen johnson, green, heskey in a team however wingers are fairly interchangable.

He can't do anything except run very fast. And he is nowhere near as good as Lennon. SWP showed absolutely nothing in the first game. There is a reason why he's been on the bench at City.

Sorry, can't agree with you there, when I've seen SWP play 9 out of 10 times he runs but leaves the ball behind.

Mmm... I'd give you most of your list but I have to disagree with that one. John Terry isn't the best centre back in the land. He's not even the best English centre back in the land. In fact he's probably not even the best centre back at Chelsea. He's probably top 10 but he's worse than either Vidic or Ferdinand at United and probably being pushed by the likes of Vermaelen and even Richard Dunne, for example. If King hadn't been a crock for the last 5 years Terry probably wouldn't even be first choice for England. He's a rather over-rated player, is Terry. As I fear we shall find out in the later stages.

The thing I like about JT is that he is pretty consistent, and very rarely makes mistakes.

He went through a little rough spell this season, but there were exceptional circumstances.

With all due respect, I would suggest that he makes as many mistakes as the rest, he just seems to get away with a lot of them. For example, I seem to remember at least 3 occasions last season he made blatant handballs in the penalty area only for the ref to somehow not give the spot kick.

Now that may put something towards his value - after all it's a useful attribute to be lucky - but I'm rather worried that the refs in this tournament so far have seemed to be of a rather higher standard of both ability and objectivity than your standard premiership whistle botherer and I don't think he would get away with any of the tricks he pulls in the prem.

Actually North Korea are playing some quite nice football. Technically pretty sound.

People must be asking questions about the ball, if even the Brazilians can't hit the target from outside the box.

I'm enjoying the game though, N Korea are well up for it.

I wonder if he meant it?
