I think that does less damage to you mentally.

could really do with some help here heavily dwelling/stressing out with this stupid situation To put it short, got a bit dizzy drunk on that stupid amaretto stuff, for some reason I went on facebook and went on a spree of messaging as many people as I could, weeks before this I was talking to my female friend about her bf and she says he would want to meet me as hes into his photography etc, so ages after that, never met this boy in person but when I was drinking that amaretto mailing lots of people I thought it would be a good idea to mail this boy and ask him for his flickr page to see his pics, but I didn't ask my friend permission to contact him so now ive intruded without asking very silly of me as I always ask people permission to talk to their friends etc, he never replied and my friend hasnt replied to me in 2 weeks since that such an idiot (me) In other news if anyone was wondering what that katie girl I asked out looks like theres a pic here: http://img838.imageshack.us/img838/3711/45413922.jpgI try text her but never any reply, she did say she wants to abandon every single one of her friends and "start afresh" how people can do that is beyond me sucks

Never drunk type or even worse drunk poke. You never know where it will end.

Where's the boyfriend come in? Has the girl you spend time with (and get excited about seeing) the one with the boyfriend who likes photography?

Dude, if they don't want to talk to you after two weeks I'd mark it as a loss (doing a B5) and put it all down to experience. The way I see it is this, if they don't want to talk to you, [LIFTED] it, it's their loss. Why get hung up about it? Just move on. Yeah, sure, it's sucks but so what? A great many things in life will let you down. Pick your battles wisely. You've tried to contact them, they don't seem interested. If they get back to you at a future date then great, pick things up from there - if you still want to, but until then just move on.

If you really were (or are) that close then you'd be in much more regular contact than every two weeks. Really close friends make time for other really close friends. I have people I consider to be close friends that don't even like switching their mobile 'phone on, but I still get the text message from them now and again. That's what really close means in a friendship - you go out of your way for the other person. Still, it's good that you feel strongly enough to simply not write them off. Hopefully your loyalty will pay off sooner rather than later. Good on you, man. (8+) Mark

well this is very flawed with me atm, cos I know myself me and her will be friends for life, I can just tell, but theres friends who I cant even be bothered visiting atall, (blocked on msn) theres only a very select few I want to see these days, would you reckon this is normal? or shallow of me? "prioritisation"

Do I know this person? David, listen to what the Egg Man says. It's true.
