I could have done that measurement with my shatter-resistant Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ruler that I got for my birthday.

That apparently f/11 at 1/250th of a second is the perfect exposure for capturing earth from space in a photograph.

I've no idea how it compares to other films, but I've just seen the list of actors / actresses who turned down the lead roles in Basic Instinct.
