I see that Watch are showing Babylon 5 in its entirety starting on Monday November 4th. The 5pm slot is a bit annoying though.

This week's Click has a good little interview with Woz, touches on all sorts of stuff :D (it's right at the beginning)

Typical. I don't get Watch and they'll have cut it to shreds to fit it in that slot anyway.

That's one enthusiastic Steve. It's great that he's so excited by technology and he's also much more interested in the possibilities that patenting everything as a way of scuppering the competition.

I'm not a fan of Apple in any sense, but Woz is just cool.

No, it wasn't. I was slightly puzzled by its absence until the wife reminded me that they announced that it would be back in two weeks time at the end of last week's episode.
Cheers for that.
I really want that show to get better, it has a lot of potential but it just feels shallow somehow.
Cheers John.
Ernie, I'm hoping for better things as well.

Disney, Marvel & Netflix Unite For Multi-Series The Defenders TV Show

That's potentially genius if they go down the same route as Avengers/Agents of Smugness (and make the second part of the equation work). You get to test out your third-stringers while introducing them to a wider audience, with a potential ready-made, Avengers-style film to follow.

Yes but the problem is that for a movie will they get the big name stars along with the budget? It could hamper follow on series as many of the public will then want the big stars in the weekly episodes.

No no, I meant using the TV actors in a film; everything's pretty much established and cheaper then ;) , also Agents of Smugness has had the movie SHIELD members cameo already.

I understand that, but will they get egos and kill the idea of a return to the TV, preferring to be movie stars?

I find myself struggling to see what all the fuss is about regarding Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.

OK so Joss Whedon is involved, but TBH he's been on a slow downward spiral ever since Season 5 of Buffy...

Would it help if I watched the Avengers film and various off-shoots (eg Iron Man etc.) first?

In the meantime though Season 3 of "Person Of Interest" is becoming more awesome with every episode.

No, it's just been pretty weak so far :( , though if you are gonna watch the films...

Iron Man - Great fun. Avoid 2 like the plague, you're not missing anything anyway. 3's worth a watch.

Thor - Average, but does explain The Avenger's main villain, so...

Captain America - Starts off with an Indy Jones vibe but loses it's way a bit, still worth watching.

I'm gonna give Agents one more episode then I'm done otherwise.

It is quite watchable. Though I am probably not such an avid comic fan who might have a more critical impression of it. I think that it will become clearer over the rest of the series that there is a shadowy organisation called Caterpillar that is the new enemy.

It's not the comics thing with me (I'm more of a DC fan anyway if it came down to it), it's that there's no sense of the show going anywhere. It hasn't got an interesting character to it's name so far, it's really annoying. It wouldn't be the first comics property to offset that with good villains instead, but that hasn't happened either!
