I am off to the IoW Garlic Festival today :D
The wife has been before but this is my first time. I'm told the Garlic Ice Cream is lovely but I should avoid the Chilli sauce on top
Anybody been before and what else is there good to do if the wonders of garlic fade after couple of hours?
Cheers

I went there a few years ago, was pretty fun, and it's very similar to many other fairs, festivals that are in fields tbh, I still had a good time though.

World free running championship on iPlayer. The British guy at about 35.45 is amazing.

Rather aptly for this thread, we caught a guy taking a dump in the bank car park next door last night. There was clearly something wrong with the public toilets less than 50 feet away. I don't know what was funnier, the look of shock on the guy's face or watching his mate have to pick it up and chase after the offender shouting "Nick, Nick! This f***ing stinks!".

I've been reading a bit about Scientology recently* and something struck me, Hollywood being what it is, you never seem to see the more famous members together in the same films or even TV shows :?

Now, I appreciate that sounds very Brattyesque ;) , but am I wrong? :|

*Don't worry, I haven't gone off at the deep end or anything ;)

This is probably a stupid question, but I took out an 18 month mobile phone contract about 17 months ago. At the end of next month, does it automatically stop or do I need to inform them that I want to cancel?

Peter.

It should automatically change into a rolling one month contract. They will probably try and get you to sign up for a new period, offering you a new discounted phone and better terms.

Thanks, I better give them a ring tomorrow to cancel my contract once it is complete.

Cheers,

Peter.
