The craziest the bit about that conference is the fact they announced it on the east coast (of the US) first thing in the morning, and it sold out so quickly that all the tickets were gone and it was still only like 5AM on the west coast so all the people in California who aren't insomniacs simply didn't get a chance to but any. Yet the conference is being held in San Francisco  .

Ex colleague just told me that him and Mrs are expecting a baby. I asked if it was after the 3 month stage and he said yes she's 4 months now. He said don't tell anyone so of course now I want to tell everyone but I am going to resist and just tell you guys as you don't know him. That's still OK isn't it?  _________________Still the official cheeky one

Well Edd you're in 2 different places It's not at work. I don't work with him anymore. It's a friend telling another friend on Skype  And I have resisted telling people at work as he knows them too and he said not to tell. _________________Still the official cheeky one

I'm surrounded by people talking constantly about pregnancy (amongst other things). I can't think for one second why I would want to talk about it anymore to anyone else.

Just asked about that at my work. The tight bastards knock you straight on to statutory pay on the first day of paternity leave. My old company gave me full pay for a week.

We get full pay for the 1st child. I've arranged to sell them a weeks holiday that month so I get stat + full pay
