I quite like the look of infrared photography and it's something I want to try out with my film stuff. In the meantime I picked up a cheap IR filter (a knock off R72 basically) to see what would happen if I stuck it on the front of the DSLR.

This was a 40 second exposure at f/11, ISO100

I did read the Tamron 17-50 will create a hot-spot which you can see in the photo but on the whole the result has piqued my interest. I'm definitely going to try some more.

The Practical Photography DSLR skills course final module topic I chose was differential focus. I put the macro on the camera and took some shots in a wild flower meadow.
