I can't believe the closing line of an email received, from one of my colleagues:

I will reach out to you once I have further information from them.

What a load of utter crap. What's up with speaking in normal English rather than just making up stupid phrases?

Peter.

Since the I.T. helpdesk was out-sourced to India a lot of the calls we get coming through end with the words "kindly do the needful"

I have started closing calls with the description of work done as "Kindly did the needful and all is now well" ;) :P :etc:

Along with 'thinking outside the box', 'touching base', 'blue sky thinking' and 'synergy'.

I've just been stood up by my Design Boss. She called me, from my phone (I was in her office waiting) to tell me she was standing me up, crtitcised my chairs lack of comfort for her boney bottom and then left her rubbish on my desk for me to tidy up when I got back to my desk!!

You have to admire the sheer cheek of the woman!!

Tee-Hee, if only I could be sure of getting away with it. Although, given her propensity for over-reaction (she is a Designer after-all :D ) I'd be hearing about it for the rest of my life!!
