Morning all.
Works departmental Christmas do last nigh. A good time was had by all me thinks. Whether certain people have a good morning today is another matter me thinks.
I think I will especially treasure a rather drunk colleague talking about someone else in the hushed tones only a drunk person can manage and yelling down the table 'Yeah but she's thick as sh!t'. Worryingly, it was meant affectionately.
Roll on Monday to find out what carnage ensued after the younger contingent toddled of to the only night club within 5 miles.

The works do was on Friday. I found out about it on Thursday evening when I overheard two colleagues discussing it. The best answer to the question "why didn't anyone tell me about it " was "you don't work on Fridays "
Oh well, didn't want to go anyway, but it's nice to know what people at work really think about you.

Morning, My secret santa gift is nearly a week late, and everyone's talking about dishing out the gifts tomorrow! Gunna pull rank and postpone it until Thursday.  In other news, I ordered bacon butties as a treat for the office staff two hours ago and we're still waiting. Proper first world problems right there! Also, feeling a little grumpy today because severe leg cramp woke me at 3.30 this morning (it still hurts now) and I couldn't get back to sleep. Even grumpier, because I didn't have breakfast when I decided I was going to get sarnies for everyone, and now I'm really hungry. Tw@thead, from last week, hasn't shown up and is dodging my calls - clearly, he's trying to delay payment of the account until after the year end - I'm sure a quarter of million quid will make his year-end accounts look much healthier. Of course, my bosses will be thrilled with me if we don't get that money in before xmas.
