Lo peeps Today I handed in my request for voluntary early retirement - a legal and binding contract which could see me finishing work for good within a month or so (I'll hear in a couple of weeks)  I'm aware this may be slightly insensitive given the state of this forums members employment (or lack of it) at the moment but if I don't take the chance I'm going to lose out big time. Can I now make a plea for piccies for the photo comp! There has been a reduction in early submissions combined with no real last-minute rush resulting in very few entries to vote for. Then there's the lack of voting (which puzzles me). Surely you can spend a few moments to choose the top 3? After all - it's another post to add to your tally  [/rant over] Al

What ho!? Yesterday's weather was obviously an aberration. Today is grey and overcast. Again. Still, it's Friday! Al, I just can't come up with a decent idea for the compo. This is getting to be a bad habit. Either the themes are getting worse, or my brain has stopped working. The only idea I've actually come up with (that hasn't already been submitted!) is probably quite rubbish. I think I'll just have to roll with it and see what happens. Morning all. I think my microwave has died. Well, I'm assuming it shouldn't make a noise like it's trying to vibrate across the worktop and possibly destroy every molecule in the local vicinity New microwave ahoy! I guess the old one hasn't done too badly at over 8 years old. Anywho, it's not raining (yet) so it's not too bad outside. Have a great day folks.
