I'll look online first, but yes, I expect it'll turn up locally otherwise.

Got my copy online for a few quid more, arrived today. The car is excellent all round, the mag's incredibly thin and focuses more on the Batverse in '89 rather than the car! I half expected that of course. 60's TV show next (£6), then the Tumbler (£10 continuing), which I'll consider getting. Though the photo makes it look crap... There's artwork of some of the cartoon cars which might have to be purchased too By the way, there's a ridiculous amount of self-promotion material bulking up the plastic wrap around the mag, and the glue seems to have been developed by DARPA

Maybe pushing the limits of what this thread is about, but I thought at least some of you might be interested in this: It's a Hallmark Wing-Bat guitar, created in conjunction with George Barris, the man who designed the original 60s TV series Batmobile.

Way off topic and this is still on topic as far as I am concerned. Never knew Batman was that talented.

I'll probably just leave it bare on my work desk

You'll have less than no space to work in if you collect the lot! Be kinda curious too; like an open Bat museum.

'And here we have the models from the 60s, before things got truly silly...' I'll have to rearrange things just to fit this model in... most of the Batmobiles look bloody terrible, I can't imagine they'll sell too many of them

Thanks for the pics. I was expecting only one. Just need to find where I can buy it from. I don't have space for 80 cars so I'll buy a few.

I am liking the quality of the car. The next two will give an indication of quality. I expect there are enough decent cars for the series, though I expect people will complain if they start doing the Bat Rollerskates.

Right I cannot for the life of me find this anywhere. None of the local supermarkets have it. The local newsagents don't have it and have not heard of it.
My family are going to have a look at newsagents close to their workplaces. If they have it, they will buy it. If not, I may have to go down the subscription route.

can pcernie take some shots of himself? the curiousity grows, and then it will make my mind put at ease as my current image of pcernie is king kong mixed in with some sort of shrek, which is your fault for not posting pics It would still be ontopic if you did as you are "batty"
