"Talon of the Silver Hawk" has got me hooked (pun intended).
There's lots of threads coming together from the previous Midkemia stuff. I am really liking the Conclave of Shadows books so far.

Just finished Child 44.Not a bad whodunnit, especially for a debut novel, and apparently Ridley Scott is making a film out of it.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Okay, finished "Talon" in short order, and "King of Foxes", and now into "Exile's Return". Wow.

Just finished the first of Stieg Larsson's Millenium Trilogy (Verblendung), looking at getting the other two now.
Reading a couple of Jack Reacher's at the moment, plus Winne-der-Pooh and Harry Potter und der Feuerkelch

Finished Steig Larsson and my god they were cracking. The first one took some getting into but was a good. The second two (they feel like one book split into two parts IMO) are a-maz-ing. Back to the Jack Reacher. I'm starting from the beginning and picking them up cheap after reading Nothing to Lose and really liking it. They're the Die Hard movies of the book world I've still got The Lost Symbol sitting on the shelf too.

I forgot, I also got "The Mote in God's Eye" as an Audible credit, so I'll be listening to that book as well, when I get some time...

I've just started reading The Mallorean - David Eddings. I totally love this series and have greatly enjoyed the entire Belgariad twice in recent weeks

Still reading the previously mentioned book on and off ( @ myself)... But also dipping in and out of this: Everyone Dead By Teatime: A Rational, Level-headed Guide to the End of the World from The Daily Mashhttp://www.amazon.co.uk/Everyone-Dead-T ... 000&sr=1-1Wish to God I could safely leave books in the bathroom in work Also read a few graphic novels recently; Kick Ass (far better than the film despite almost being identical), and Queen and Country: Declassified Vol. 3 which was excellent, and has prompted me to read the whole series in it's collected editions Oh, if I can, I'm gonna edit the title of this thread to add 'or looking forward to' EDIT: I'm looking forward to the next volume of ultra-twisted graphic novel The Boys, about CIA-backed 'cape killers'...

Finished it a week, maybe two, ago. Great read. Mountaineers are wusses. People who explore super caves are the Chuck Norris of exploration.

I've got Operation Mincemeat and Agent ZigZag on my list, the story of the dead agent (the body placed by the allies in the Med with decoy data about the D-Day landings, the second is the most successful double-agent, who worked for both sides during WWII, got the Iron Cross from the Germans and a pardon from the Brits).
Just got part 2 of the Stieg Larsson Millenium Trilogy, Perdition on my Audible subscription.
