Pretty much exactly what I use and expect to see as a template. I wouldn't sign off with a kiss though.

But it'll separate his application from the others!
ION, how I'm gonna face my colleagues at work tomorrow. I didn't formally accept or reject the offer of a job, but I feel I should give an answer. My biggest worry is me saying to wait (for exam results) and them changing their minds or looking elsewhere. Think I'll have a chat with my boss first and see what he thinks about it. Hopefully he'll give me an honest answer about whether I'm right for the job, whether the job and workplace is right for me, and whether there's any concerns. The job was to start with a salaried position and then escalate to partnership. What I don't want to do is join a sinking ship!

My finger hurts due to a sore hangnail.
I want to go home.
I need sleep.

I called my dad on Monday and he said that my mum had a scan that looked suspicious. The doctors are now doing more tests to determine if it is bad or not. If she has to go to hospital, I will have to go back home to take care of my sibling for a while as she is only 7.
Question, should I warn work now or wait?

I agree, unless you have a really very close relationship with your boss and you are able to talk in total confidence to them.

Depends on your employer and your attitude. If it was me and my employer I would be happy to inform them well in advance as they're flexible and very forgiving.

Her answers have been unintelligent spurtings of corporate babble tested with the word "digital". What is she doing there?

No idea what she's doing there, think she's some sort of business type, I've got it on mute and Alter Bridge playing

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.
