Wow JJ you're up early!

I woke at my usual time to feed cats, although I am off today as it's tattoo day! I'm equal parts nervous and excited, I start at 10:30 and it could go on for 4 hours or more  my biggest tattoo and the longest time spent in the chair so far :? Consequently I couldn't go back to sleep after I woke up so I've had a cup of tea and am reading my book and the internet to distract myself. Red is just getting up and it's odd to be here while he is :) he's not much for communicating in the morning though 8-)

Right, back to the book .... Have good tuesdays everyone.

Morning.

It took me ages to get off to sleep last night, and the next thing I know the alarm is going off, followed by the cats. :|

Oh well, at least I haven't got anything to do. :?

Morning all,

Feels like I haven't been here for a while... I must be busy!

It's half term, so I'm catching up on paperwork, before this afternoon's team meeting... YAY!

OK, I'm off to find some online music to work to so...

Have a great day everyone.

:)

Got new meds for blood pressure... Side effects headaches, restriction? Asprin, Ibuprofen and Paracetemol negate its effectiveness! :(

Morning World!

Tattoo Day 2 and I'm more nervous than excited. My endorphins ran out after 3 hours yesterday which meant I was a shaking and slightly tearful mess...either that or it was the thought of having to watch Avatar 3 times in a row! ( ;) ) I am still quite proud of how far we got, I just wish I could have hung on a little longer. I'm off today as well so no pressure to hurry up and get back to work, I may treat myself to a pub lunch once the tat is done, we'll see.

Can't really focus on anything else, tattoo pain is quite intense when the work is going on, but as soon as he lifts his hand away it's gone and I can't remember what it felt like at all...until he starts work again :( Luckily most of the shading low down is nearly finished. Just have to make sure I keep my shoes on to stop my feet getting cold. That was really odd, I was sitting backwards on his chair, facing away from him, my core was really hot, uncomfortably hot, but my hands and feet were cold :? Well, there's that to look forward to until lunchtime then it's home free this afternoon!

Morning all.

Tattoos. Not partial, myself, but there you go. We'll expect pictures later, mind.

I've lost count of job applications I sent out yesterday. As ever, not a squeak from the recruiters. To be fair, I don't expect one to contact me for three weeks after the closing date, but still...

Off to pay a visit to the Defiant today. We didn't go Sunday or Monday, for reasons I don't recall but made sense at the time. Sadly, the workshop doesn't allow photography.

Onwards and sideways.

Morn

This morning I seem encumbered by a rather heavy heart and a feeling of futility in the face of all-conquering mediocrity. It's very hard for this engineer-turned-cleaner to stay upbeat when I have to witness the peddling of artless, unimaginative, electronic tat designed by witless, no-talent ass-clowns. It's made all the harder given the recent spate of expiries of important, truly useful figures in the field.

At this rate we'll be lucky to progress much past the rowing boat Enterprise

:(

Morning all.

Nice day, if a little chilly.
As an added bonus, will be off round a friends house this evening to watch some films and possibly have take-out.

Have a great day folks.
