It is a debate that is needed, but as said, it is the wrong way to go about it...

I thought Paracetemol has an agent in it which induces vomiting, so that you can't overdose on it?

Still incredibly stupid.

They can't put anything in there to induce vomiting.

I thought that (up to the 80s at least), that there was a vomiting agent included that caused somebody trying to take an overdose would puke up the tablets before they could do too much harm? If you stay within the limits, the agent is never strong enough to cause a reaction.

Maybe it was an old wives tail?

Edit:

One strategy for reducing harm done by acetaminophen overdoses is selling paracetamol pre-combined in tablets either with an emetic[35] or an antidote.

I've checked the references for the Wiki link - can't access the articles but appears to be suggestions rather than what's actually going on. Paradote isn't available in the UK. I've had a look on our prescribing section of the software and the only things that come with paracetamol as a combination are other painkillers or anti-sickness (for migraines).

Any additional actives would have to be declared on the paracetamol packaging and I can't say I've ever noticed any. Plus when you're selling 500 mg tablets for around 1p each there's not a lot of incentive to add anything else you don't need to.
There is a risk assessment aspect here. The vast majority of people who take paracetamol do safe entirely safely - you need to take quite a lot of tablets to do yourself harm and it can be treated pretty effectively if its caught early enough.

There have been people who take slow/accidental overdoses - eg someone who takes 1g paracetamol every four hours without reading the packet may take 6g in a day rather than 4g limit. Or someone who takes paracetamol and then say lemsip which also contains paracetamol. Neither will normally come to harm unless it's prolonged duration or there are other comorbidities but it does happen.

Strangely, there's a limit on what people can buy over the counter but I can prescribe 100 tabs of paracetamol for a patient.

What could possibly go wrong with a site called Couchsurfing.com? I'm all for the spirit of the thing, but you'd need to be ridiculously trusting.

Average monthly London rents hit £1,500 for first time, says survey | Money | The Guardian

It'll take them ages, but the opposition parties will eventually latch on to that once the story becomes too big to ignore.

Is that all? I was paying 1300 for a 49M² flat in Woking in 2001/2002... There must be some very cheap parts of London, somewhere...

We pay 1100 for a flat in zone 6. I know people who pay 1k for a room in a shared flat in zone 2.
Prices have increased, but mostly in the Trendy/ hipsterish areas.
Saying that, any property with zone 1-3 would probably set you back 1500 minimum
