Who else is watching the South Africa game?
Does anyone else think ITV have made an effort to cut down on the vuvuzela noise? It seems pretty quiet in this game, considering that South Africa are playing.

Had a friend round to watch the England game on Saturday (she’s South African and her BF is English), she was giving us loads of [LIFTED] on hearing any complaints about the vuvuzela saying the kids were making much more annoying noise on the trampoline in the garden… (revenge imo)

Game's on BBC Nick I know Forlan's goal took a deflection but that was still some shot. Hopefully SA Will get back in the game because we need them to have something to play for in the final group game.

Yeah, I do actually. Presumably they've turned the crowd mics down a bit. Mind you I am on the BBC HD channel with 5.1 so it may sound different on BBC 1. Speaking of which, given they're both getting the feed from local broadcasters anyone know why BBC HD are broadcasting the games with 5.1 sound and ITV aren't?

The sound also sounds quieter because your brain adapts.
I thought Uruguay played well tonight, I was disappointed to see South African supporters leaving before the end of the match. You stick with your team through the good and the bad.

The BBC said they were considering taking steps to filter out the sound of vuvezelas, so that's maybe why you're not noticing them as much. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainmen ... 317767.stm

Currently 2-1 to Argentina against South Korea at half time. One goal apiece coming from complete defensive howlers it would appear.

That's good, but it really should just have one horn and one button for the full comedy effect.
