Usual high concentration of idiots on the roads this morning. Luckily I managed to make it to work in one piece.

Fixed for the South East.

Morning,

After a week of 29-30 degree days with lows of about 20 it's decided to be all cloudy today. Sometimes it's actually nice to have a cool day, I might get a full nights sleep!

Enjoy your day 8-)

Morning.

We went to the RAF Museum at Cosford yesterday.

Nearly four hours to get there, but it was worth the effort.

The reason why we decided a November day in the middle of a working week was worth the trip to the west of Birmingam from the wrong side of London was because the conservation centre was open to the public this week. This only happens once a year, and is an opportunity to see the work that goes on (essentially recreating an aircraft from wreckage and scattered remains, as they are doing with the Handley Page Hampden right now), and to talk to the staff about their work. Very interesting.

All of which means I shall be spending today sifting photos and possibly heading out to sort out some bills and get some food in. Such fun.

Morning all,

Friday!!! This was my last full week at work; I've got next Friday off and then the following Monday, and I finish up on the 2nd so I'm hoping the next couple of weeks will travel relatively quickly.

It's again quite overcast today, we had a morning shower and it was supposed to clear up after that, but hasn't. Still 29C expected today though.

Enjoy your day 8-)

Greetings.

Since it appears my last batch of job applications were sent off into the ether never to be heard from again, I guess it's back to trawling the web for more to waste my time and effort on.

I've been thinking of adding a number count to each application covering letter. "This is application nn since 2009; total number of interviews = nn".

Not sure that'll help.

Onwards and sideways.
