Bought an aftermarket adapter from the States for my laptop. Doesn't look anything like the description but the label is correct and it has the right specs. It also appears to be powering the laptop fine though not tested it under load. Hope it doesn't explode!

It's amazing the difference from going from a 11" or so netbook to a 17.3" laptop.

Can anyone explain why I decided to start rearranging the furniture in my bedroom at 10.30 at night?

We've all done that. Or buggered off out mid-way through, only to arrive back much later than planned.

I just deleted one of a double post and the forum somehow deleted both of them?

I think it was RuskyBuckets, he's been double-posting since yesterday. I think his Tapatalk install might be bugged.

No. There's have been lots of double posts over the last few days. Each time I get a 500 error there's a double post. I think it's the forums themselves.
I've deleted lots of teh double posts, but this is the first time the forum deteled two at once.

I've had double posts from Tapatalk too in the last few days, but I was able to go in via the web and delete the reposts. Tapatalk did get a fairly big update recently - the icon changed, for one thing - so it's possible they've borked something somehow.

I've had double posts but i don't use tapatalk. I just use a browser and found it would take forever to post. By the time you'd gone back to the tab, you would try again. Sometimes i would check to see if it already went through.

I was on the forum around the time of your post. I was deleting some double posts including one from you. I probably confused things. :| :)

Judging by a moody comment my wife left on a photo I put on (and have since deleted from) Facebook, it's not going to be a pleasent skype home this evening.

New server and networking is being installed at the moment.
Might be causing a bit of lag on things
