Well they are idiots. I will wait till it is a sensible price. I already have a reminder to order one in 8 days time.

I think so. Though there are no dates mentioned on the site. 25th is apparent launch day.

I know that, but will we be able to order online and get it delivered for that date, or will we have to wait for that date before being able to even order it. That's really what I was asking. (8+) Mark

I sort of missed that. I had it down in things as a reminder for that day.

So it's a bit thinner? Thinner than the iPhone I hear. You know I think that is one spec that won't look much on paper but will sure go down well in the shops when they are side by side with other tablets. I am sooo tempted to get one but I just can't think of a reason to. My last purchase of a MacBook Air has a) Skint me, and b) Met all my mobile computing needs. Dam you Apple with all your shiny baubles.

I've decided against getting the 3G version, so it'll be Wi-Fi only for me.

Same here. I have been setting up my dual networks to use it.

I have one of the new Time capsules which comes with a second guest network. My main WPA2 password is now 50 digits long, far too long for easy access, so I use the guest network with a much easier password for simple internet access. I used it to update my laptop, and the XBox 360, and will be handy when friends visit and want access but now I do not need to compromise my main network.

Well if you have a modern smartphone then you will be able to make a mobile WiFi hot spot if you need to. CC
