Funny, beautiful, return to form :) I do dislike the fake camera wobble they do when something 'unexpected yet scripted' happens though.

Also - Romania in HD, very nice, as was that girl herding cattle...

I should point out the cars and the aforementioned girl (from what we seen of her) were stunning :)

The end shot of the road looked jaw droppingly gorgeous in 720p

Recorded the episode so will have to see about the girl ;) (7gb or so for an hour show!)

The overhead views of that road were stunning. I'd love it to be including in a racing game. Well its the only chance i'd ever have of driving it in an Aston, Ferrari or Lambo!

Is that a camera person no no then? I thought it added to the drama :)

Also: Where did the camera crew sleep when they slept 'on the backseat'?

Personal tastes I suppose, for me it broke the 'magic' of the shot. It's like seeing the reflection of the dolly and crew in a window or something (see Chasing Amy).

Although I did like the shots of the heli hovering low over the road. :)

Am I the only one thinking that when James May headbutted the camera during the 'Stig as a chauffeur' sequence it must have really hurt?
