Oh joy. :|

I was rather hoping that they'd give it to Lee Mckenzie.

Which smiley best shows sarcasm coming up? Not sure. Just assume I'm being sarcastic then.....

Oh wow, amazing. I can't wait for the new season to start. Fantastic news. Yay.

Well, I'm pleased (and that's with no sarcasm). I thought she was great at the job when she fronted MotoGP, I'm sure she'll do a good job with F1. I've never really warmed to Lee McKenzie, though she's definitely better this year than when she first started.

I'm disappointed that Monaco isn't live next season on the BBC though - I know it's often a procession with little overtaking, but it somehow seems wrong not to watch it live. Wouldn't be surprised if the British GP will be next on Sky's list of demands for 2014. :(

As for Monaco not being shown live on the beeb, I don't mind. If we're only getting ten races, I want them to be enjoyable - I'd go as far as to say I hate the Monaco GP.

I love Suzi Perry!

Actually looking forward to next year. I'd given up with the loss of Jake but I think Suzi can do a good job.

She'll be good to look at either way.

Monaco is an event much more than it is usually a race, to be fair. However, what we really need is the Beeb to show all the races that happen at decent viewing times. I really can't be arsed about watching the Australian GP live but I'd kind of like to watch the European based ones live. Monaco is after all one of those.

The GP's that are some distance away could be delayed so that Sky users get first look but they can be shown delayed at a reasonable time on BBC2

I'd agree it's more of an event than a GP, so I won't miss it.

Everywhere else, Bernie is piling the pressure on - threatening venues with removal from the calendar if they don't improve facilities etc... I don't see that threat being levelled at Monaco. I wonder why?
