That could be a clone of what the clone makers expect a cheaper iPhone might look like. I do not care, I am locked into my contract so am only interested when Apple actually announces it.

Recently, all the "Apple are really going to do this" rumours of late have been unfounded. The watch, the TV, the mini iPhone, and the budget iPhone (this is not a new story either). Apple have not announced any of these products. Any new product in the iOS product line will be announced at the time iOS7 and the next proper iPhone & iPad are announced.

I am not disagreeing with anything you said. This could be a clone attempt at a cheaper smartphone or something else. For me everything will be settled at the keynote. I will be more interested in iOS7 than the phone. New devices will be announced but most likely incremental improvements on older models, and maybe something new. All the rumours are more of a wish list for some, though for me the best things could be found in iOS.

The problem is, there is a whole industry that has grown up around predicting what Apple will be releasing next. Apple aren't innovating as much or as fast as they were, when the broke into the smartphone and tablet markets, so the industry is struggling to try and remain relevant and come up with anything in order to keep their income from advertising and click rates up, so that they can still earn a living off the back of Apple.

Are they though? The iPhone is quite a few years old now. The iPad is also a few years old and the iPod is more than a decade old. The iMacs and MBP or Air's are basically redesigned versions of computers and notebooks which are both twenty years old. Even the iPad could be thought of as a redesigned PDA, so nothing is really new. Apple do put things together in a new way. I do agree that the rest of the industry is struggling to remain relevant.

According to reports the Galaxy Folder will run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and will feature two 480 x 800 displays, dual-core processor, 8MP camera, 4G connectivity and that famous numerical keypad.

Actually it seems sensible to have an actual keypad. It might suit those who cannot use conventional touch screens such as the blind.
