It's amazing how much pain a bad back can cause.
However tempting it is though, not moving for an extended period of time may make it worse. Pain killers making a dent in it?

Yeah, I was layed up for most of January with a bad back. Tramadol kept the edge off the pain, or rather I was so out of it I could ignore the pain. But I lost a couple of stone through sweating caused by the pain and lack of appetite.
I hope it is nothing too serious and goes away again. Get well soon.
Mine stems from a car accident when I was 20 (rear ended by a Volvo doing 60, when I was stationary in a queue of traffic).

with builders the switch isn't labelled 'off' or 'reset' it's labelled 'need to get some bits, back next Tuesday'.

almost
actually they are not that bad and as its a fixed price its their money they are wasting
I am more worried that they will start another job somewhere and it will slow down to a snails pace
