I can't. Lion, currently, appears to be where my Mac gets off the OS upgrade train. To be honest, I don't really want to go to Lion. However, it's becoming obvious that Snow Leopard is on life support, and more software "needs" Lion to work. Keeping a bootable clone of Snowy means I can carry on there if I find Lion too much to bear. In fact, I might just install Lion on the bootable clone rather than on the internal drive.

Not enough room. I only have a 160GB internal, and it's two-thirds full despite my regular archiving and deleting stuff. I suspect once I make the move to Lion I won't actually go back to SL, but I like to know it's there in case I change my mind.

That girl's nipples were as big as the end of my little finger. I wish I was joking.

How many times I'm going to watch Jurassic Park and still hope to see the kid fry on the electric fence.

Our baby is due on the 29th April and Jen has now been diagnosed with hypertension and the kid is still lying breach.
Spent most of Thursday at the hospital and then another five hours today. We are due back on Monday when they are going to try to turn the kid manually. If all goes well things proceed as nature intended, but if "Flump" gets into distress they may have to perform a C-section. Regardless they are concerned enough to medicate the high blood pressure and if they can't bring this down, we may have to have a 'C' anyway.
So am just trying to keep everything in perspective and stop my beloved wife from undue worry. In the grand scene of things, not really anything to worry about but not how it feels at the sharp end. The hospital and the midwives have been fantastic in explaining everything and keeping us fully informed at every turn but I just feel completely helpless. This is probably because I am, but knowledge I am right doesn't really help. This is the hardest thing I have ever done because I'm doing nothing cause there is nothing I can do, other than be supportive. Regardless of how important that is at the moment, it doesn't feel enough.
Anyway, just needed to vent will feel better in the morning
