Yeah lovely leaf . Here's some I like that I just recently touched up a bit, I've fiddled with my monitor settings so I'm not sure if this looks quite as I want it to. Would be appreciative of any feedback as to colour saturation and brightness/contrast - my monitor's getting a bit on the elderly side and I don't trust it very much.

I like the photos. However when it comes to processing or calibrating I know nothing. Generally I rely on composition and cropping, I've had a play with adjustments but generally leave things as shot. That is with the exception of underwater photography, where I almost always play with white balance out of necessity. Read necesssity as not having several thousand pounds worth of lighting.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

The cropping/composition of that first shot is something I'd be proud of having taken. Nice subject, too. There's not much at all I can criticise either of those pics for. Mark

I used the calibration software with my Nvidia drivers and it turns out I should have been setting the gamma correction to really high, as such my monitor is now much brighter than I'm used to but colours are looking much more vibrant.

I'd be glad of taking anything that comes close to some of your Iceland shots, so cheers

Here's a little job I did for lacloss. He had an old photo of his father, which had seen a bit of a rough life. He asked me if I could restore it. Being very pleased with the finished restoration, I've been asked to share it with you to show the kind of stuff I do for my day job. Here's the "before" original image: Here's how we ended up with the final version:

Nice one Heather. I used to do the same in my former day job so know exactly how much work is involved.

Spent the day in Exeter taking photographs in a tattooists. First pic from the set - I've also got some film to process before the whole set's complete and ready to share properly.
