Sometime I remember why I moved out of this hateful country :S

It would not surprise me that if we had a protest march here against gay marriage that we could get similar numbers against it. They are the minority.

But surely freedom of speech means they are allowed to protest and air their protests? As long as they don't go gay-bashing.

Clients, eh? Here’s one - he’s got an uncalibrated Dell monitor, and a truly crap printer - not to mention eyesight that affects colour perception. Not the kind of set up that allows for judgement on artwork, especially one with subtle shades and shadows.

Yes this is what’s happened. So I’m not having the tweak and adjust - guessing that he wants to see, yet knowing full well the it’s got to go to print. :?

Parents eh? How about not double parking two massive land rovers on a residential street when there's been a night's worth of snow, so cars have to thread their way in between you on an unreliable road surface? Little Johnny can manage the ten effing yards to the school gate fine without you stopping to watch him do it, meanwhile causing a massive road snarl up which might just get someone else's kid actually hurt.

I'm sorry, if there some regulation you have to give up half your IQ when you procreate?

Not that I'm aware of, although you instantly drop IQ when owning a 4x4 of certain brands I believe.

I think in the early stages it happens as a by-product, but it's the lack of sleep that causes it rather than the child themselves!

The children who go to this school are at least 4 years old. One of the land rovers was a full 'expedition' job - big wide thing, long wheel base, row of spotlights on the roof rack, snorkel on the exhaust, all of that. F*cker thinks he can drive it through a jungle when he can't even park it properly on a normal street. Even worse, I suspect if you could have seen them through the snow, he'd have been on the zigzag 'school' markings.

I have no problem with parents driving their kids to school, especially when the weather is bad. But don't they realise they're endangering other children? Why do they need to drive right up to the gates and then wait? Why not just drop the kid off further down and then get out of the way? There are plenty of other parents and children around who will make sure they get to the school building safely..

Bloody train. Repeatedly failed yesterday, we jumped on it this morning and it was failing in the same way. We downloaded some logs and had a look over them, we then went back to the problem, but it has dissapeared  Now we can't send it out without doing anything, but we can't do anything because we don't know what might stop it happening again.

assuming you are quite muscular or a bit "spongey" in body build, stop jumping on the train, thats probably whats causing it to fail/break :x

They will be the same type of person who chooses the escalator over stairs, lazy.

Thanks to them, I missed the last flight to East midlands and had to take the last flight to Luton instead. Then I had a two hour train journey to get home. I didn't get in until 1am.

Selfish [LIFTED] will be selfish [LIFTED], with or without children.

All that proves is that some parents are less mature than their infant offspring when choosing a new car. Just encourage people to ignore urban 4x4 drivers, never let them out of junctions or show them any courtesy whatsoever. Basically, treat them as they treat everyone else - make it part of the cost of ownership of buying a 4x4 and, just maybe, when they get round to changing cars again they'll think twice.

So I go off to do a home visit. The patient needs blood tests, so I do them whilst I'm there. I then get sidetracked because there are other problems that need sorting. By the time I get back to the practice, I've missed the collection van and there's not another one for 24 hours. Rather than chucking the bloods away, I drive up to the hospital five miles away and try to hand them in. Only I'm faced with a receptionist who was either gormless and had no idea what I was trying to do, or was being obstructive and just didn't want to help. Either way, it seemed to be too much hassle for her to pass the bloods on to the nurses station, so I ask to be let through. After a lot of to-ing and fro-ing, I manage to have a chat with the nurse who is someone I've worked previously in another hospital. Five seconds (if that) to hand over the blood, quick chat to see how things are and I'm done in less time than I spent having to deal with the receptionist.

If this is what patients have to put up with, I can begin to understand their frustrations.
