I was not expecting a tribunal till next year there are so many appeals in the pipeline already, according to the benefits officer I spoke to. I only realised I had won when the letter they sent me mentioned a change in my benefits and hidden away on the last page it mentioned my being in the Support group. No mention of anything else. Just discovered that the average person retires with an annuity pot of only £33000 which only buys a pension of £1500 a year. So most of us will struggle when we retire if it were not for the state pension.
