That's a shame, because it's a damn fine show.

Mark

Episode one was just too slow. Do you think it's worth sticking with? Honestly? And if so, how long before it picks up.

I'm not having a go, because your advice is usually spot on when it comes to tv recommendations, but I really don't want to waste over ten hours of my life on a telly programme!

JV stop b1tching and just watch it!

Enough said :D

Dominion
The Leftovers
Salem
Hannibal
Hemlock Grove
House Of Lies
The Blacklist

That's on Netflix at the moment and I have the last three eps to watch.
I've been enjoying it. It's been renewed for a second season as well.

The term 'slow burner' was designed for this show.
The pacing is very different to other shows - as you've already discovered - and after the first episode I also wondered if it was something I should stick with, so you're not alone there.
But I did stick with it and once you settle in with the pace of the show (I binged watched it so I got in the rhythm of it around ep 3) it becomes this wonderfully dark programme about the good and evil in mankind.
It is horribly stereotyping for people in the Deep South of America, but honestly, it's nothing that hasn't been represented before - which doesn't excuse it, but that's just what the show does.
Honestly, I can't say that this show will be for everyone, but I ended up enjoying it a lot.

When I started watching Hemlock Grove on Netflix last week there was only one season available. When I finished the last ep just a few moments ago it took me to the second season that is now available.
I consider this a win.

I'm really enjoying "Halt And Catch Fire" at the moment.

And season 4 of "Suits".

Finally got round to getting signed up to Netflix. Currently going through episodes of the IT Crowd.

I sat through a few episodes of Silicon Valley. What a hideously painful cringe-fest.
