I've just ordered my new servers :D
2 blades with dual 6 core processors
48GB RAM in each
a couple of 146GB sas drives
A HP MSA fibre channel array
12 450GB SAS drives
A couple of switches & flex connects etc
Another blade with 8GB RAM as a vcentre server
VMware Vsphere

This will be a fun setup

How much did that all come to. I had a quote yesterday for £1000 8gb iPod touches which came in at £145k with VAT. They're sourcing elsewhere though. Shame!

Quite a bargain at £31k + VAT, although we've already got the blade centre & psu's etc which would add another £15k or so to it.
Retail is over £80k

I'm thinking of using them to warm the house, it'd save me a fortune in gas
