There is some very nice work on this page. ION, my pics have been used in a local rag - http://twitpic.com/9l0231I'm a bit chuffed.

I managed to test the Fujifilm X10 super macro mode on Sunday and was fairly impressed. The lens can only be used at 28mm in super macro producing a fairly wide shot so I've produced a crop to get nice and close. Both of the images are straight out of camera JPEGs with no edits.

And as someone's just pointed out, you've got about an hour to get in on the action before May 15th draws to a close... so uh, get snapping...

Unfortunately some of the animals were too shy or too quick to be photographed. We saw a fox in the woods, but he was so quick springing over the fallen trees, that I couldn't get the camera on him quick enough. We followed the wildboars for a while, but couldn't get near enough to them for good images, which was a shame. We tracked them for a while, but we ended up between them (about 8 adults with 10 babies), with some of either side of us. We couldn't see them, but we could hear them. We didn't want to upset them or have them being protective of their young, so we slowly backed out of the area.
