Greetings.

I don't like it when I get a bit of a scare first thing. Had an email from a company I buy from to say their system had been compromised somehow and credit card details had been stolen. They had closed everything down and deleted all recorded details, but wanted to make sure all customers also were aware and report anything suspicious on their statements.

"Oh, great," I thought. I've just been through this where the card has been stopped - the last time it was actually replaced by a new card and new number. "Here we go again."

Luckily, having checked the statement online, there's nothing untoward I can see. I can stop shaking now. Let's hope the supplier sorts it out and finds out how they were compromised.

Onwards and sideways.

Bonjour

Heather hope your card details are safe. Guy at work thought his account had been raided last week but after some investigating he found out his website host company had taken the annual payment a week before it was due without letting him know. Needless to say he is changing provider.

Had a rubbish nights sleep so dead tired. Burnt my hand on toaster machine in the cafe. Hope it's not a sign for how the day will go!

Carolyn

Morning all. Back in work after a couple of days off which has been very relaxing.

On Saturday morning the Wench did manage to cut through the telephone line into the house, mistaking it for a very old doorbell. As such, we've been without internet since then, and will be until at least tomorrow.

This week's dragging, though it might pick up a bit once we get our chat with the 'blue sky thinker' over

ION, my Coke is flat and my half day on Friday has been canceled :(

Afternoon World,

finally back in the virtual world after a really long month of various hectic stuff going on. Good newses are that we've got a snake named Cyril and my exams are over for the year. Bad newses are that "Squeak" of the Hammy twosome passed away, I had a really bad cold, Horace needs a new exhaust and work is completely manic during the build up to the UK Conference, the building move and then Asia Conference which are all happening within 2 weeks of each other in November *sigh*

Otherwise life goes on, homelife is pretty fantastic, I've got into a routine a bit which is making me happier and I'm getting through my xmas shopping pretty well. I'm determined to have the majority done before the shops go nuts with xmas stuff. A few busy weekends coming up, party for Halloween, Erotica and birthday parties to go to, I do need to get some sleep though, hopefully this weekend..... ??

Hope everyone's well, point me in the direction of any major news I've missed but I'll try to keep up better now life is settling down HA!!

Just coincidence I hope, snakes are great escapologists. What type of snake have you acquired?

Morning all.
Well, I assume it's morning but it's still pitch black outside.

Have a great day folks.

Morning peeps.

One of our moggies seems to have got something in her eye which is irritating it. We're keeping it under observation in case it needs proper vet-type treatment.

Otherwise, enjoy Thursday!

*wave*
