You're kidding me, after watching her on This Week for ages she has to be the most patronising, arrogant, self absorbed vacuous shell of an MP I've had the misfortune of listening to. The 'genuine' aspect of her character turned out to be nothing more than a front and makes Michael Portillo look like a Saint that you'd happily let marry your mother.

As for Tony Benn, I wish they could clone the man.

Yes but compared to Tony Benn she is way behind. I did not say that any of them were saints. They are just above scum in my opinion.

That's weird, it makes it look as though the outer ring is moving very slowly even though it isn't.

They don't even have proper test examiners any more? :o

Congrats. As my dad said when I passed my test, now you learn to drive properly. Be careful, keep your nose clean, and remember that every other driver out there is a complete idiot. Advice that's served me well for the past twenty-odd years.

We done.
Now get yourself signed up with the local IAM observers group to learn how to really drive.
Also welcome to a world of stupidly high insurance.

Thanks all.

Well, anymore learning is going to be not getting done for another year minimum. I can't take a car to Uni, so :/ Plus, I'm not going to get a car for 3 weeks then have to sell it.

I'm going to try to get on a ROSPA course at some point. Plus my Uncle knows the examiners that do the blue light training and tests, he's going to see if one of them can get me in and help me improve even more.

A supplier has just sent me a quote after haggling with HP for the best possible prices.
It's £7k more than their original quote

I'm waiting for some wort to cool down so I can add yeast and put it away for a week and a half and bring it back out as beer!

I've bought 23 1 litre bottles from Ikea which should take the 40 pints I've made. A month or two for the beer to settle then I can work on creating some more empty bottles!

They're very nice bottles, but I just recycle old ones. It's a lot cheaper!

That's normally for things they don't have in stock and don't know when they'll get back. I bought a fairly obscure album by Weather Report some years ago which they listed as that. Took them about 3-4 months to get hold of it, but as I'd failed miserably to find it elsewhere I didn't mind, especially as they sent me the more expensive Japanese release instead.
