Bizarre internet craze 'planking' claims its first victim after man plunges from balcony to his death

Acton Beale, 20, fell from the balcony of a block of flats in Brisbane, Queensland, after he tried to 'plank' on some railing.

This is thought to be the first time someone has actually died from the growing craze in which people lie face down in unusual place before taking pictures and uploading them onto the internet.

Sounds like he did a pretty realistic job. More here.

This happened just four days after the craze had made it into the mainstream Oz media. I wonder if this bloke only tried it after reading that article. :?

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

I'm hoping Blackpool stay up. Just so there's a bit of a change in the Premiership.

For the 2nd time in 9 finals (and since 1995) Finland beat Sweden 6-1 in the IHF World Championship.

Happy house. :D

A guy at work is selling an Apple airport express for £49.
Is this a good deal, I'm looking to set up a repeater router to cover my flat and was wondering if this would do the trick and will it play nicely with my windows boxes.
Im assuming my iPhone will work wonderfully with it

A few mates, who are Blades fans, had a bit of an impromptu celebration knees-up when they heard, despite their own misfortune this season.

They're obviously still smarting about that whole relegation fiasco a few years ago.

I Imagine it was quite a nice moment for Niel Warnock too. :D

PLEASE put this on you status if you know someone or are related to who has been eaten by a koala. Koalas are nearly unstoppable and they can also breathe fire. 93% of people won't copy and paste this (because they have already been eaten by koalas), 6% of people are in their wardrobes armed with fire extinguishers and the remaining 1% are awesome and will re-post

my brother has too much time or whisky
