Father Christmas brought me an espresso machine for Crimbo. You would not believe how much of an art (or science) there is in producing the perfect shot. I have much to learn but I'm enjoying the constant buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....

Afternoon all.

Not long back from Glasgow. My that was a damp trip. You can't beat horizontal driving rain for finding the weak spots in the water-proof-ness of your jacket.

Anywho, have a great day folks.

Off to a family do this afternoon so that should be good.

Have a great day folks.

You are hooked, aren't you?

Morning.

Been out shopping, to top up supplies and get rid of the £25 voucher Morrisons gave us for spending lots of moolah with them before Christmas. Shortly, we'll be out again to see if we can find a nice jacket for Best Beloved.

Other than that, the rest of the week has nothing planned. I think the workbench calls. :)

Morning.

Not a lot to report from the bottom right-hand corner of England. I guess everyone is winding up for the new year's eve events. Frankly, they bore me to tears, so I guess Best Beloved and I will have an early night and listen to some podcasts or something.

:)

Seeing as the planet has orbited this star quite a few billion times more than 2012, the whole thing seems a little unimportant. I would see the point if I could go to a warm tropical place to watch fireworks and the sunset with a special someone, but then, you can do that at any time of year.

Afternoon World!

This holiday has been fab and I can't believe it's NYE tomorrow already! We're heading to our local for the eve to indulge in champagne, canapes, buffet and horse racing with our local people, hoping to make ourselves a bit better known in our community.

Today we got up late, ventured out in the rain to the garden centre for more dirt, I have pumpkin seedlings which need potting on, money tree babies that need potting on and bird houses that need hanging. I also have to get the old sunflowers cut down and hack at the various mystery bushes in the garden so I can seperate out the honeysuckle.

Things seem to be a bit confused, we have the acer budding new leaves, the honeysuckle is flowering again (even without any leaves) we have bulbs starting to shoot already and the cats are all shedding their winter coats, the next few months could be a bit of a shock for all concerned.

ION it's raining and I have to go outside in it, so fortifying cup of tea is on hand!

Morning all.

Still no idea what the hell I'm actually doing this evening but at least there will be beer and I'll be making some shortbread at some point today as well.

So, the last hours of 2011 are slipping away.

Have a great day folks and onwards for 2012!
