I'm testing some R&D equipment. It bacame clear that there was a blockage in part of it yesterday. That would mean two days of stripping it down, unblocking the pipe work, and reassembling it. As I last ditch effort to avoid that I swicted the fluid hoses supplying the unit around, cranked up the pump pressure, and tried running it in reverse to clear the blockage out the way it came in. It worked.

I'm booked on a train that finishes in Disneyland Paris. Oh the joy.

Ryanair set to offer New York flights for £6 | | | | Quote: Ryanair boss Michael O'Leary reveals plans to start low-cost services from Europe to the USA. IT MAY HAVE BEEN NAMED BRITAIN'S WORST AIRLINE last year, but Ryanair is back in the headlines with an offer you can’t refuse… or can you?
Having walked away with the ‘worst airline’ award in a survey of short-haul passengers by Which? Magazine legroom, coming bottom in the categories of boarding, luggage and meals, and recording a £28.7million loss in the final three months of 2013, Ryanair have come back fighting with a seemingly stupendous offer.
The self-styled ‘ultra-budget airline’ announced last week that it plans to offer flights to a number of destinations in the USA from 12-14 as-yet-unconfirmed European cities. Prices are set to start at the ultra-low cost of £8 one-way to Boston and New York, and flights from the US to Europe for £6. But there’s no need to panic buy, for these flights will not be available for another five years.
So, £14 return: sounds like an amazing deal, doesn’t it? But being Ryanair, that’s not quite the price you’ll pay. Fair enough – it’s the budget airline pricing model: a rock-bottom basic fare, plus ‘extras’ which take the total price up. The price doesn’t include airport passenger duty, as well as the usual additional charges like a credit card fee, checked bag fee, seat reservation and food and drink. But if you go hand-luggage only, and take your own packed lunch, you’re still only looking at a little over £90 one-way or £180 return. | | | | |
Who would take it up?

I'm not sure if I've just done something incredibly romantic or something incredibly stupid.

Whenever I do something like that, I invariably find it is stupid - no matter how romantic it may seem in your head.

Probably. If she thinks it was stupid I'll get a bollocking no doubt. Booked a few days in Gibraltar for our anniversary without even asking her.
