Tonight was my first night of the year with my evening ritual, wandering the paddock as the sun dropped down below the conifers, listening to the lapwings as they swooped over the fields and the chatting of the chickens as they settled down for sleep. A light breeze bringing the scent of the freshly silage-strewn fields across the road and the first stars peeping through the ending of the day. It was lovely!

Whilst globally that is a very popular show, I don't know that it has that large of an audience in the UK. Which makes me wonder just how many people would get the reference. Mark

So BBC3 isn't closing, it's going 'digital only'. It is essentially becoming a non-linear channel. That's interesting.

What it means to be a channel and the method of 'broadcasting' is changing. It'll take time, but I think the traditional model is essentially over.

Firefly nappy for the boys has arrived. I would post a photo but the forum keeps on throwing a hissy fit http://pbs.twimg.com/media/BieeW2XIcAEcy2s.jpg
