Sons of Anarchy - Just brilliant. The Flash - Off to a great start, no messing about whatsoever. Agents of SHIELD - Feels like filler at the moment, like a load of almost incidental details and nods and winks until it gets going proper with all the characters it's introducing. Which was exactly the problem it had in it's first season. They need to sort that out, and fast. Great lines are being lost in this mire! Gotham - SPOILERSThey're killing this show. Instead of giving the main players scenes that actually build character and plot, so far all we're getting is an exact repeat of their behaviour from the previous episodes. This means there's no surprises whatsoever. The Penguin apparently has to kill at least two people a show. The gangsters who are the most interesting people in it, and there's a lot of them, haven't progressed one bit. Nor have Bullock and Gordon (they're actually getting tiresome, it's been the same 'we closed that case!' spiel for three episodes). This is all pretty annoying when you're getting battered over the head with the message that EVERYONE in Gotham is corrupt and that, in terms of day to day police work, all the GCPD do is chase the freak of the week. Hammy child snatchers? Weather balloons? WTF? I think someone's attempt at dark humour is going horribly wrong SPOILERS

Why can't I watch Doctor Who on iPlayer yet? The show's finished - surely it's just a case of flipping a switch somewhere and making the stream live? Or is forward planning not something the BBC does?

That seems entirely random where iPlayer is concerned.

I really hope this is better than the CGI Captain Scarlet TV series, and the derisible Dan Dare series that was made.

I actually quite liked 'New' Captain Scarlet, but ITV messed it about so much it doesn't surprise me people's memories of it are bad. It's worth a second watch via streaming, or I suspect the DVDs are very cheap by now. 'Rat Trap', "Mercury Falling', 'Rain of Terror', 'Enigma', 'Dominion' and 'The Achilles Messenger' all worth a watch. Some of the others are pretty bad though. Particularly 'Grey Skulls', not at all sure what they were thinking with that one.

I haven't seen it's latest episode (think it aired last night), but hopefully it'll be an improvement.

Netflix is hiking up its 4K price, but existing subscribers aren't affected http://www.techradar.com/news/televisio ... ed-1268809These price hikes are becoming worrying, especially when any number of times recently the service hasn't been up to scratch... Programmes 'that can't be displayed right now'; especially annoying when it's a series Times when a head-on image is fine, but it goes noticeably grainy when the camera goes to a wide shot; this only seems to happen in TV shows, and only recently. I thought maybe it was some sort of interference but every other provider works fine with my set-up, and as I say, it's only the TV shows. The main thing I keep Netflix for, it's great system for skipping intros and offering the next episode immediately, more often than not doesn't work any more There's other small niggly things, but the truth is Prime gets much better films on a regular basis and increasingly, better American TV.

http://schmoesknow.com/fox-orders-six-n ... ham/30232/Fox, seemingly fcuking about as usual. Honestly, episodes two and three would appear to be filler, never mind what this might bring.

'Mortal Instruments' And 'Resident Evil' Headed To TV http://www.latino-review.com/news/morta ... aded-to-tvThe RE films need to go to hell and die, but both of those could be genius TV.
