Just went into a pub I'd never been into before in my local area for a pub quiz. Walked away from the bar after buying 3 drinks and the landlord muttered "faggot" under his breath, audible on purpose.

I felt like breaking a chair over his head but he'd have probably still beat me up as he was a fat bald huge bastard, but my blood was boiling I can tell you, at the sheer ignorance, pointlessness and bigotry of it. Needless to say, I shan't be spending my money in there ever again, I suddenly felt like I was on the school playground again, it's a world I left behind a long time ago thankfully.

For the record I'm not gay, but obviously part of his subconscious was attracted to me, the well-groomed picture of masculine perfection that I am.

I used to go to a gay bar in Birmingham when I lived there as a mate of mine (who was) worked there so I would pop in some time to chat and have a drink after work. I used to think of it as a compliment if any of the clientele that did not know me (those that did knew I was straight) tried to chat me up

When I first started visiting my wifes, (girlfriend at the time) place of work, and this is before people knew we were an item, many people, of both genders, would stop her in the corridors and ask her who the hunk was

What can I tell you? I can't help being subliminally attractive to everyone!
