Hello.

In danger of being blown away and drownded today. Definitely a duvet day.

Yesterday's interview went off well enough. We'll see if they think I'm good enough soon.

Today I shall be keeping out of the wind and rain, pausing at 11am for two minutes of calm reflection on those we must never forget, and generally not being terribly productive.

Thank God the end of the week is in sight, though I feel strangely OK considering I didn't go to sleep until after three (CoD) :?

After a glorious but cold day yesterday, it's back to wet and windy today.

Problems at work - the powers that be want all the staff to train up on the new system via t'internet. Our link can't cope with the demand and BT are dragging their heels on our fibre upgrade. It should have been installed two weeks ago, but they haven't even run out the cable yet!

Have a dry one.

p.s. Best of luck with the job, Heather.

Morning.

I didn't get the gig. They're the ones missing out on my sparkling wit and skills set. :)

Meanwhile, it's Friday and I'm being yelled at by a cat for some reason. Best go and see what she wants.

Morning all,

Submitted my dissertation proposal last night, and I shall be asking for volunteers to set up a focus group soon, so watch this space. :D

Ohhhhhhh Kayyyyyyyy... Double FS* English with the Media group then some DD time and I'll be out of here at 13:15 today

Have a great day everyone.

:)

* FS = Functional skills, which is literacy, numeracy and ICT. A bit like key skills, which some of you may be aware of, but different...

:D  :JV_Entertaining_And_Educating:

Lo peeps

It's Friday and my man flu has downgraded itself to a man cold but the coughing, spluttering and sneezing continue. Not a great nights sleep but I'm not so irritable today so progress all round.

I'm on the cusp of getting a new mobile and can't quite decide whether to go for the HTC Desire HD, the plain Desire or the Samsung Galaxy S. I don't need to collect e-mails but wouldn't mind a bit of surfing the net on the odd occasion.

Morning all

Got a couple of lovely new jumpers from the New Look sale at the weekend. One is quite long and very cozy and wore it today thinking it would be cold. Got to the office and it's so warm I've had to take it off so can't even show it off *sulks*

Our conference bridge is down so we're having our morning meeting is postponed - shame

Have a good one all!

Afternoon all.
I will be very happy when 5pm rolls around that's for sure. It seems to have been an excessively long week for some reason.

Enjoy what's rest of the day folks.
